Job Description:
We are urgently hiring for the position of Live-In Caregiver to provide round-the-clock care and support to our clients. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting clients with activities of daily living, including but not limited to personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living as outlined in the client’s care plan.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Administer medication reminders and ensure medications are taken as prescribed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up living spaces, and laundry, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition or behavior to the care management team.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any observations or concerns.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a caregiver, preferably in a home care setting.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and compassion towards clients.
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with clients, families, and other caregivers.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
- Must be willing to live in the client’s home for the duration of the scheduled shifts.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation (preferred but not required )
