Job Description

Dove Court Care Home in Wisbech are currently seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant for Days on Full Time or Part Time 

Dove Court care home, in Wisbech, offers a warm, caring and professional service for those needing dementia care, long-term residential care or more temporary respite needs.

While having extensive experience in the field of elderly care, Dove Court’s qualified carers are also skilled in dementia care, assisted by a comfortable and relaxing living environment.

The Successful candidate will have previous experience as a Senior Carer and have experienced with taking responsibility for medication and care plans and will be able to liaise with external organisations ie hospitals, GPs, social services. You will be able to lead and supervise Care Assistants.

•Genuine interest in working with the relevant Service Users group
•Good communication and organisation skills
•Confident team player
•Satisfactory Policy check and check against the SOVA list
•Ability to work on own initiative
•Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Program
•Previous experience of working with the relevant Service User Group
•NVQ level 3 in care
•Experience/Qualification in the safe Handling of medicines
