Corteva Agrisicence™ has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Commercial Effectiveness Leader
The position is primarily accountable for the local marketing team responsible for developing and implementing product / portfolio strategies, lifecycle management among Seed portfolio and Crop Protection portfolios, based on customer needs and regional asset strategies to maximize sales, market share, and profit margins for the whole business. The role is accountable for creating strategic strategies and driving tactical implementations of marketing plan, positioning and demand planning for new product launches and for existing products. The role will also be responsible for the Digital Product and Marketing strategy and Commercial Effectiveness for the Sales organization.
The successful candidate must follow Corteva internal procedures, especially those related to the company’s core values: high ethical standards, respectful people treatment, safety and environmental protection.
Your challenge
- This role is member of the Local Country Leadership team and member of the Regional Marketing Manager and Commercial Effectiveness Europe Middle East network
- Accountable for the Marketing team responsible for analyze Seed and Crop Protection market segments, grower insights, product feedbacks and competitive dynamics to identify market trends, threats or new business opportunities and reflecting customer needs.
- Accountable for developing and implementing with the Marketing team product strategies, scheduling projects, price developments, label extensions and licensing-in opportunities over the lifecycle of the assigned portfolio in close relationship with European Product Managers and in accordance with regional business strategies
- Accountable to manage the cross functional Local Product Concept Teams to define new project requirements, to build business case, to describe strategic priorities, define product attributes, to design value proposition and create sales argumentation.
- Accountable to define Local product prices based on regional guidance, market research and anticipated demand
- Accountable to provide annual marketing plans across business portfolios and monitors them, track performance of products versus plan (prices and volumes vs PO, project stage reviews), investigate significant deviations, and recommend corrective action as necessary
- Accountable for the local 5 year plan product and portfolio direction in alignment with product strategy and portfolio assets.
- Accountable for the Local Digital strategy and tactics enabling and accelerating Sales
- Accountable to drive effectiveness in the Sales organization revising and alignment sales organization and productive business model
Ultimately, responsible for the Seed and Crop Protection business profitability by driving Market Share growth and overall business profitability

Qualifications
To Grow What Matters, You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree from Agriculture Engineering (preferably with additional master’s degree in marketing)
- At least 5 years of experience in the Agribusiness industry. In crop protection or seed business, marketing, product management, development or commercial function, would be a plus.
- Strong knowledge of the plant protection and seed market
- Product and portfolio strategy and operational planning.
- Ability to lead teams successfully that create, launch and manage brands.
- Understand and successfully analytical skills in market research, including economic analysis.
- Customer-oriented attitude
- Team player who can influence others
