Job Responsibilities:
· Ensure resident care is provided within established nursing standards and principles, physicians’ orders and administrative policies.
· Observe, report and record vital signs, symptoms and conditions of residents, and initiate remedial health measures where appropriate. Assure observance of required techniques in nursing care.
· Assess residents and help develop, implement, review and evaluate resident care plans.
· Monitor residents’ health, notes changes in condition and assess need for referral to doctors; processes and implement physician orders.

Job Qualifications
- Successful completion of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Current licensure with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (CLPNNL) or eligible for same.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Gerontology and or palliative care experience considered an asset.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently.
Hours of Work:
Chancellor Park operates on a rotational shift schedule in both 8 hour and 12 hour rotations
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 20-37.5 per week
Salary: $26.81 per hour
