We are looking for an experienced Head of Digital Product to join our Product Engine team (within Product Department) responsible for the heart of our technology and experience, i.e. product configurability.

We empower Product Engine to solve hard problems – customer problems and business problems – in ways that our customers love yet work for business. We are in the process of expanding and strengthening the PE team in the face of ambitious plans and step change of our configuration technology in the coming quarters.

We strengthen the team with the skills necessary to come up with effective solutions that are valuable (our customers choose to buy or use), viable (the solution works within the many constraints of the business), usable (the user can figure out how to use with fun and little magic) and feasible (our engineers have the skills and technology to implement).

While the product designer is accountable for ensuring the solution is usable, and the engineers are accountable for ensuring the solution is feasible, the product manager is accountable for ensuring the solution is both valuable and viable.

This means that You, as a Head of Digital Product, must contribute to your product team a solid knowledge of the various constraints of the business – such as constraints from brand and marketing, e-commerce and sales, service, finance, legal, and privacy. Head of Digital Product must also contribute to the product team a deep knowledge of our users and customers and the data about how our customers engage with our products. Finally, we expect the Head of digital product is tracking industry trends and the competitive landscape as they pertain to the product.

While each member of the product team may be accountable for a specific risk, we look for product managers that understand that consistent innovation is the result of each member of the product team contributing their passion and their ideas. The product manager must collaborate closely with her product designer and engineers to discover effective solutions, and then work together to deliver those solutions to market.

While we empower our product teams to figure out the best solutions to the problems that need to be solved, we also hold those teams accountable to the results. Shipping is necessary, but not sufficient. We look for Heads of Digital Products that are not afraid of signing up for results, even when this means they have to work through others to achieve the necessary results.

This job is an individual contributor role. You will need to be able to influence your teammates, as well as colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives, through your use of data and logic. On a daily basis, you will work closest with Configurability Design Expert and Technology Lead from the PE team and the team producing the physical product, the eCommerce team, experience team and representatives of individual dependent areas – configurability as a domain is related to many areas in the company.

Product Department

Product is our most diverse team in terms of expertise. It is home to 50 specialists, ranging from experienced UX and experience designers, software developers to wood technologists and industrial designers.

This department is responsible for two strategic areas: Product Strategy and Product Portfolio Development, as well as roadmap and company-wide support, with the aim of elevating the Experience.

With two specialised technology divisions — Production Technology and Product Engine — this department delivers a complete product: the complete digital technology (i.e. configurator) and the physical product that is produced in the factories.

Product Engine

The Product Engine team is the technological heart of Tylko, as we are in charge of solutions which constitute the foundation for our furniture design and configurability. We develop in-house design tools, complete configurator (core configuration library, visualisation technology and complete interface) and 3D renderer pipelines – both offline and real-time. Here you will find parametric designers and software engineers who are passionate about delivering rock-solid solutions which propel our company forward.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery You have experience in implementation product discovery process and product managment culture
• 5 years working on technology-powered products as either a product manager, product designer, engineer, data analyst, data scientist, or user researcher. in the e-commerce space.
• experience in transforming or creating a digital product from scratch Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, marketing. You have excellent communication skills and have experience managing multiple stakeholders of varying levelsDemonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.
• Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
• experience in building and leading teams in a modern way, also in the hybrid model
