Job Description
We are looking for a general farm worker/herdsperson on our 450 cow spring block calving herd. The cows graze on a rotational system for as long as the weather allows. In the winter they are housed on cubicles and are fed silage.
The role will include milking though a 32/64 herringbone parlour in a pair, calving cows, feeding calves, scraping, bedding and grazing management plus potential for other work with stock and machinery.
The farm is in a great spot near to the towns of Colyton, Seaton and Honiton in East Devon, a stones throw away from the south coast, you can see the sea from many of our fields!
All experience considered , progression available for the right candidate. Pay/salaried dependent on experience. We are a friendly family led team with several younger members of staff. Any questions please get in touch.
