Saga Torilinna opened its doors in autumn 2017 and offers top-quality living, first-class services and active leisure and cultural activities for seniors in a beautiful environment. Saga Torilinna has a total of 69 senior homes, units and two-bedroom apartments for rent. We are located in the heart of Lappeenranta, next to the main market square.

Your working day as a home nurse with us

As a home care assistant, your job description includes responsible and versatile care and customer service work, with the main focus on assisting residents with daily activities according to their needs. As a home care assistant, you are responsible for our residents’ basic care, medication, and the planning and implementation of comprehensive care. In addition, you will collaborate with other staff, relatives, residents, and stakeholders. Our seniors live in their own apartments, so care work mainly takes place in our residents’ own homes.

Employment information

The position is permanent and the work is part-time, 80% working time. The work is shift work. We can agree on the start date with you!

The task requires

• Education:  Registered nurse’s degree 
• other permits:  vaccination protection according to the Infectious Diseases Act and we consider valid drug permits an advantage, but you can also obtain them with us 
• Language skills: at least functional basic language skills in Finnish (B1 level)
• Other things to note: the person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract in accordance with the Criminal Records Act if the employment relationship lasts more than 3 months.

Pay

We follow the private collective agreement for the social services sector in our remuneration. The job-specific base salary for a community nurse is €2,363.76-2,556.20/month (G20C), depending on experience.
