Caregiver Benefits
As one of our valued A1 Caregivers, you can expect to be paid between $15 – $35 per hour, depending on your experience and the level of care required by our seniors.
For all our employees who work more than 30 hours a week, we offer health insurance coverage too.
We are also on the lookout for new star Caregivers to join the A1 Care Family! If you refer a trusted friend and they complete four consecutive weeks of work, you’ll receive a $100 bonus!
Caregiver Jobs Training
All Caregivers must meet California state compliance by completing the set curriculum through the CareAcademy Caregiver Training Program which includes courses such as:
- What Does it Mean to Be a Professional Caregiver?
- Clients’ Rights, HIPAA & Elder Abuse Prevention
- Professionalism: Communication, Problem Solving & Cultural Competency
- Maintaining a Clean & Healthy Environment (Infection Control)
- Assisting with Personal Care Through ADLs
- Safety Precautions & Falls Prevention: Part 1
- Communicating with a Person with Dementia
- Managing Agitation & Aggression in Dementia
- Light Housekeeping Techniques
- Overview of Nutrition & Food Preparation
