Emmin Kammari Nursing Home is a homely and warm-hearted nursing home for 12 elderly people. The nursing home is located in the center of Kaarina, close to beautiful nature. Emmin Kammari has a small and close-knit work community, for which presence, a good atmosphere, and working and being together are important. The goal of our work is to ensure a happy and active life for residents, and all our employees are genuinely involved in the residents’ everyday lives. Your working day as a care assistant with us

As a care assistant, your working day is varied and your duties include kitchen work, cleaning tasks and care work. Your day mainly consists of tasks in the unit’s distribution kitchen, such as heating meals, preparing them for serving, washing dishes and ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen, as well as cleaning the unit. In addition, your duties include organizing residents’ recreational activities, caring for them and assisting residents with daily activities according to their needs for about an hour a day. We also take your strengths and skills into account in the job description. 

The position is permanent and the work is hourly (60-115 hours/3 weeks). The work is weekday work and working hours are mainly from 9 am to 3 pm. We can agree on the start time with you!

The task requires 

• care assistant training
• vaccination protection and hygiene passport in accordance with the Communicable Diseases Act
• at least functional basic language skills in Finnish (A2 level)

The person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract in accordance with the Criminal Records Act.

Pay

We follow the private collective agreement for the social services sector in our remuneration. The job-specific base salary for a care assistant is €2,166.94-2,381.97/month (G16B), depending on the experience bonus.
