I want to study at Kingston University London because I have been craving an in-depth understanding of the recent developments in network security, wireless/mobile security, and cryptography. My year of experience working in the networking and information sector has brought me closer to the industry’s challenges. Unfortunately, the increasing dependencies of firms on networking applications and software packages continue to make them vulnerable to cybercriminals, hackers, and malicious agents. According to Walter (2022), businesses across the globe are looking for cybersecurity specialists to keep cybercrime at bay via the use of engineering and forensics skills to investigate and detect malware events and vulnerabilities.

For this reason, I enrolled in a certification course at Cisco, an international firm specializing in digital communications technologies. I learned how to defend and protect a firm’s network. During my stint with the firm, I gained in-depth knowledge of how to combat cybercrime. However, Kingston University can help me achieve my quest to have an enhanced understanding of safe authentication systems, intrusion detection, and safe authentication systems.

My academic background blends perfectly with my desire to study at Kingston University. At Ambrose Alli University in Nigeria, I learned the basic foundations of computation and how computation interacts with the outside environment. In my penultimate year, I was trained to create new theories, systems, and algorithms to solve network security issues. This laid the foundation for me to learn programming languages and computational skills to solve companies’ digital problems. At Chattered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, I discovered how networking applications structure data and how insurers communicate with their prospects via digital technology. During my training at the Computer Network Engineering Institute in Edo State, Nigeria, I was equipped with the skills to design and prototype user interfaces by writing codes to develop software for companies. However, I discovered something unique during my two years of professional service with KPMG Nigeria. The company relied on network security tools to mitigate database attacks and system breaches. 

Therefore I am already relishing learning more about multiple information security methods at Kingston University. My Master’s program at the institution will help me to have an enhanced knowledge of managing and controlling network security in organizations. Studying at Kingston University will allow me to learn about recent and emerging innovations in combating malware and data leaks. Learning from the array of academic experts at Kingston University will make me a seasoned professional in the field of informatics.

The United Kingdom is one of the most developed countries in the world, with innovative and forward-thinking security solutions for organizations. Therefore studying in the country will help me to gain ideas from diverse security apparatus and firewalls used by organizations in the country. As a result, I can assist companies and organizations in Nigeria’s networking and information sector to secure their privacy and activities. Another reason I want to further my studies in the UK is because of the country’s progressive economic policy, which supports each citizen’s full potential regardless of gender. The UK also has a history of providing students with unique opportunities to advance their education and careers that I can hardly find elsewhere. My time spent at Kingston University would be the beginning of a fruitful relationship if I were granted permission to study in Canada. I would further project the institution’s strong history of academic excellence to the world and positively change the digital business environment.
