The Vehicle Preparation Logistics role is a regional role spread across 15 locations in London Boroughs. The purpose of the Vehicle Preparation Logistics role is to ensure that LAS ambulances and cars are cleaned thoroughly, checked and are roadworthy and to ensure that all ambulances and cars are accurately stocked with clinical supplies and clinical equipment. Our Vehicle Preparation Logistics make certain that all Ambulances and cars are prepared, packed, and ready for response to an emergency 999 call.
We are looking for a Class 1 drivers to join the London Ambulance Service on a permanent basis working from one of our local sites: – Barnehurst, Camden, Deptford, Edmonton, Friern Barnett, Ilford, Isleworth, Silvertown, St Helier, West Ham, Wimbledon.

The post holder will be based near Rainham, but will be required to travel to undertake work at locations across the London Ambulance Service area.
The Vehicle Preparation Logistics operative is responsible for managing their workflow and working as a part of a team. Responsible for the completion of the tasks assigned. Supporting other staff when the needs required, and contributing to the efficiency of their department ensuring goals are reached in a timely fashion.
A successful Vehicle Preparation Logistics, candidate will have various skills that will make them effective including:
