Role Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced Health Care Assistants to join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in the ST15 area to support a gentleman with a motor neurone disease in their own home. Communication, reassurance is needed.
Experience in supporting within complex needs is desirable, but not a necessity – Empathy, care and compassion is!
All training will be provided by our team of experienced and qualified personnel.

Pay Rate
£11.00 per/hour
Key role & responsibilities:
- Keep the individual well and safe by being responsive, caring and aware of the individuals needs at all times
- Provide appropriate levels of healthcare as trained, keeping the individual’s health and well being as your focal point at all times.
- Enable the individual wherever possible, safe and appropriate.
- Effective liaison between the individual, their family, healthcare professionals, management team and your team to provide a consistent approach that meets the needs of the individual.
- Promote independence Promote opportunities to engage in activities to stimulate and engage the individual – be creative!
- Monitoring and maintaining records Provide help with aspects of personal care Provide respite, support for the guardians/parents of the individual.
Essential requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill
- Ability to work as a team as well as individually
- 2 Valid reference
- 2 Forms of ID
- Ability to work as a team as well as individually
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Willing to qualify – Level 2/3 health and social care diploma.
Preferable (Non-Essential):
- DBS Certificate (Update Service)
- Experience of working with complex needs
- NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent
- Valid UK Drivers License
