Job Description: 

We are seeking an eager, hands-on, energetic, and dedicated Trainee Stockperson to join our team at the Dubbo Meat Processing Facility. As a Trainee Stockperson, you will play a crucial role in handling livestock in our lairages and stockyards, ensuring the smooth flow of operations and adherence to animal welfare standards.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Livestock movement and directing stock into the race.
  • Assisting with receivals of stock and unloading of trucks.
  • Assisting with livestock documentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and Animal Welfare regulations.

Key Requirements:

  • Ability to work onsite full time.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience working with livestock/animal handing is desirable, but not required.
  • Working dogs are not required.
