Koti Palomäki is an apartment building with 19 different homes for different people. Each resident manages their own home. Your working day as a team manager nurse with us

As a team nurse manager, your job description is broad and you will be able to utilize your professional skills in a variety of ways. You will act as a nursing expert for the rest of the team and your responsibilities include preparing resident-specific treatment instructions, being responsible for daily nursing tasks, and cooperating with healthcare and specialized care. In addition, you will act as the person responsible for implementing medication treatment in the unit and are responsible for, among other things, organizing and directing medication treatment in accordance with the unit’s medication treatment plan.

You will actively participate in the supervision and care work of our house and in assessing the functional capacity of the residents in cooperation with the residents’ relatives. In addition, you will work as a working partner of the unit manager in organizing everyday supervision and care work and as his deputy. As a team manager, you will also participate in administrative tasks, such as payroll procedures, resource management and invoicing.

Employment information 

The position is full-time permanent and the work is mainly 2-shift work with an emphasis on morning shifts, taking into account the employee’s own wishes. The employment relationship will start as soon as possible according to the contract! 

The task requires

  • Education: nursing degree 
  • other permits: valid drug permits, vaccination protection according to the Infectious Diseases Act and hygiene passport
  • Language skills: at least functional basic language skills in Finnish (B1 level)
  • we consider it an advantage: previous experience in supervisory roles and expertise in the field of intellectual disabilities
  • Other things to note: the person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract in accordance with the Criminal Records Act.

In addition, we will require social and healthcare professionals to have a social and healthcare professional card when implementing the customer database.

Pay

The job-specific base salary is €2,665.28-€2,905.09/month, depending on experience bonus (private social services TES, G22D), in addition to which we will pay you a job-specific team manager bonus of €150/month.
