Job Description
Frontier School Division currently has openings for Teachers (various positions) to join our team in multiple locations across Manitoba. Our school division includes classrooms from nursery to grade 12.
As a teacher, your principal duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Teaching skills and knowledge through a mix of traditional teaching and innovative, hands-on learning
- Utilizing course of study and other appropriate learning activities, including developmental or pilot programs
- Planning a balanced program involving demonstrations, lectures, discussions, student participation, and out-of-classroom activities
- Establishing and maintaining standards of pupil behaviour needed to promote a productive learning environment at all times
- Being involved in extracurricular activities that will enhance the community you live and teach in
About You
In order to qualify as a teacher, you must possess a Bachelor of Education Degree, and have a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate, or be eligible to obtain one. You must also have experience teaching the level and subjects relevant to the position you are applying for.
