As the Talent Management Analyst – Philanthropic Activity, you will support our Helping Hands organization which is responsible for setting R1’s philanthropic strategy. The Analyst is a key member of the Talent Management team and will provide support by partnering with our Executive level steering committee, managing reporting, maintaining the Helping Hands budget, and fostering relationships with our external partners. The Analyst reports to the Sr. Manager, Talent Management, and will also be responsible for marketing philanthropic activities at R1 including our annual Helping Hands Month and Associate volunteer opportunities throughout the year.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet R1’s goal of expanding Helping Hands by carrying out global activities, aligning with R1 vision, mission, and values, and creating a consistent approach to volunteering in local communities through our Associate volunteering efforts.
  • Manage bi-monthly Steering Committee meetings providing updates for the next steps and actions needed from the group to guide the Helping Hands strategy.
  • Expand Helping Hands leadership structure to drive visibility and accountability. Align Leaders across all business functions to evolve the strategy, establish annual goals, create more visibility for the program and ensure all business functions are represented.
  • Enhance volunteer hour tracking system including reporting and partnering with Finance to capture volunteer and donation activity across the organization.
  • Maintain annual budget and track funds spent throughout the year on donations and Associate Assistance Fund.
  • Partner with America’s Charities to support our Associate Assistance Fund including Associate awareness, platform maintenance, budget monitoring and fielding Associate assistance requests and applications.
  • Oversee the annual Helping Hands Month, leading the project management, communication, virtual volunteer activities, Forum page maintenance, volunteer hour tracking, coordination with Resource Center location volunteer activities, and more.
  • Expand Helping Hands reach in alignment with the Culture Champion network to include regular volunteer opportunities for both remote and on-site Associates.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Talent Management and/or leading philanthropic activity for an organization
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • High proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to document and articulate system workflows and functionality
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
