Hello Potential Candidates,

We are currently looking for a Skilled Labourer to join our small team of creatives in our wood workshop. It is a fast paced environment as we have to adhere to tight deadlines so good time management skills and working under pressure are essential.

The role will primarily be undertaking basic woodworking skills and operation of our CNC Machinery. We have a set range of products but receive custom requests on a regular basis, so projects will vary and will require an element of problem solving and initiative to make things work.

The ideal candidate would be competent or have some basic knowledge of carpentry along with good problem solving skills and the ability to think on the job. Attention to detail is key and someone who cares about the finish of their work is a strong plus.

We are a fun team to work along side so good personal/social skills are key.

This is a shift based job with both an early and late shift available and this will rota with other staff. Base hours are either 7am – 3.30pm or 9pm till 5.30pm Monday to Friday with optional evening and weekend over time dependant on job requirements.

Pay can be negotiated based on skill level and will be reviewed on a performance basis. We would expect the candidate to come in for some paid trial shifts to test competency level and see if the job is for them too. We are looking more for the understanding, how you process the information and the problem solving capabilities that go with this and how you implement this into your workflow.

Ultimately we are looking for the right person who wants to learn and adapt their skills to grow with the business long term and work towards a Lead role in the future.

Experience:

• Carpentry: 2 years (required)
