We are looking for an exceptional Service Managers with extensive theatres management experience to join our team at the Royal London Hospital. This post sits within the largest and most complex directorate in one of the largest and most complex Trusts in the country, this is both a challenging and exciting place to work. While we face the same financial and performance pressures as all NHS Trusts, we are undertaking significant projects to improve healthcare delivery through the We Improve programme.You will be operationally responsible for the service portfolio as well as providing Service -wide leadership on specific issues. You will therefore have well-honed performance management skills coupled with an understanding and appreciation of complex clinical pathways. You will also head up a range of service development initiatives directly as well as working with and through your teams, colleagues, and peers to deliver service improvement projects associated with services under your portfolio.Reporting into the General Manager and Deputy Divisional Director of Operations for the division and working closely with the Clinical Director, Deputy Associate Director nursing, named Clinical Leads and Senior Nurses you will ensure we deliver high quality services, provide an excellent experience for our patients, and meet our regulatory and operational performance targets.As part of the triumvirate leadership team, the post-holder will be responsible for ensuring the safe, high quality, efficient and financially sustainable delivery of Anaesthetics, Adult Critical Care and Pain Management.The post-holder will be a key member of the leadership team in Theatres, Peri-operative Medicine and Critical Care, working collaboratively across a fast-paced, dynamic department.
