Job Description

The Senior Full Stack Developer is a core member of our delivery team – the Tech Brain of the company. Your primary mission will be to architect and engineer critical components across a variety of micro-services including front and backend development, delivery and maintenance of the PakFactory e-commerce website and applications.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will evaluate new and existing technology, APIs, databases, and our products. Your judgment will be crucial as we integrate these into our Platforms. You will lead the Product Development team and will be relied on to provide your knowledge, support, and cutting edge ideas to tackle everyday problems. Through working with a cross-functional team and meeting our growth targets, you will develop a variety of new skills and will be challenged in exciting ways. An experienced, enthusiastic, detailed-oriented, and product experience driven Senior Full Stack Developer will help us reach the next phase of our success!

Main Responsibilities

Collaborate with the product and design teams to fully understands the design and user requirements of the platform

Work with the technology lead to develop features on the product roadmap for PakFactory

Help maintain the PakFactory website

Create and work with applications to ensure communication between CRM, ERP software and Magento websites are performing efficiently

Implement technical optimizations specific to organic referencing (SEO)

Work with a team to create Web modules using APIs

Implement new features + functionality on Magento 2

Ensure quality assurance by testing the code and performing code reviews

Optimize sites

Manage projects at its highest efficiency by applying modern development techniques

Requirements

Skills & Experience

Hands on experience with web development – HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, Responsive Design, React.js, Node.js, GraphQL

Solid understanding of agile development practices and Git workflows

Years of experience building, deploying, and maintaining production web applications

Years of experience using AWS for deployment and hosting

Years of experience leading nimble development initiatives requiring collaboration +

Develop and modify new e-commerce extensions in PHP and Magento 2

3+ years of web application and e-commerce website development experience

Experience with PHP, Javascript, OOP and MVC

Experience AWS: EC2, Elasticache, Cloudfront, Route53, etc

Perseverance to learn and code in a new and unfamiliar technology

Huge Plus

eCommerce experience (Hybris, Elastic Path, Digital River)

Advanced knowledge of PHP and Java

Proficient with Magento 2 APIs (REST, GraphQL)

Expertise in extending Magento extensions
