Job Description

A newly established Automotive Cybersecurity Practice is looking for a Senior C++ Developer for embedded systems.

You will work as a part of an agile cross-functional team to deliver, develop, integrate and maintain cutting-edge Cybersecurity solutions, which will be integrated into millions of vehicles.

In your work, you will be involved in diverse projects ranging from system hardening, network security and key provisioning to system protection modules development.

Your Role

  • Develop, integrate and maintain cutting-edge cyber security solutions
  • Work with partners and customers worldwide and manage on-site collaboration and integration
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders, both remotely and on-site and communicate progress
  • Partake in all development stages – from design to deployment
  • Guide and train less the next generation of team members

Required Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience of SW development in C/C++
  • B.Sc. in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or in related field
  • Experience in developing embedded solutions
  • Experience in using build systems: make, cmake, optimization of compiler settings
  • Experience with Linux operating system software development
  • Experience with system monitoring tools (netlink, netstat, iptables-nflog, /proc fs)
  • Advanced analytical skills and ability to debug and detect application errors and their root cause
  • Experience with scripting tools
  • A quick learner, ready to work in a fast paced, multidisciplinary environment
  • Excellent English both speaking and writing

  • Good interpersonal and remote communication skills with teams and customers
  • Goal and quality oriented
  • Ability to travel abroad

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the Automotive industry
  • Familiarity with Automotive Cybersecurity regulations and standards such as:
    • ISO 21434
    • R155/WP.29
  • Knowledge of Linux kernel programming
  • Experience with Embedded Linux operating system
  • Experience with using cryptographic algorithms
  • Experience in using communication protocols: CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, MQTT
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and others
  • Experience with Static code analysis tools and methods
