Senior Carer – Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, hold a driving licence with daily use to a reliable vehicle.

As a Senior Carer with Right at Home, you will already have the skills and knowledge needed that make a great Care Assistant, you will be passionate about what you do, flexible in your approach and great at building rapport with both clients and team members, all whilst raising standards and supervising our amazing team of dedicated Care Assistant.

Duties include:

Providing leadership and support for the care team

Participate in new client assessments, and complete and update care plans and risk assessments.

Maintain ongoing service user compliance, by undertaking care plan and risk assessment reviews.

Monitor, supervise and mentor all care givers.

Ensure all services are compliant with legislation, CQC standards and regulations. Responding to queries from service users

Deliver care calls as required.

Take a turn on a rota basis to manage the office on-call telephone support service.

Act on your own initiative and exercise decision-making skills, as far as possible and wherever appropriate Building relationships with the residents and families to ensure we deliver personalised care.

Requirements of a Senior Care Assistant:

You must hold a valid driving licence and access to a reliable car – Essential.

You must have the right to work in the UK – unfortunately we do not offer sponsorship. Experience within a health care environment

Relevant qualifications, such as Health and Social Care NVQ 3 or Care Certificate

Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills Good computer skills including proficient use of MS Office, the ability to produce reports and good computer systems knowledge

Extremely well organised, excellent planning and prioritising ability with high attention to detail Ability to establish and maintain effective professional working relationships. Strong administration skills and ability to manage multiple workloads.
