Who We Are

(CHI) is leading on the clinical and operational transformation of acute paediatric healthcare and consists of hospitals at Crumlin, Temple Street and Tallaght as well as an Urgent Care Centre at Connolly hospital in Blanchardstown.

Senior Cardiac Physiologist

Purpose of the Role:

To provide a high quality cardiac investigation service to children with known or suspected cardiac disease.

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join our exciting and rewarding Cardiac Department. Duties may include ECG , Holter, event recorder, ESTs, home monitor analysis, loop recorder, pacemaker & ICD interrogation and assisting with implantation, echocardiography, TOE, assisting with cardiac catheterisation and EP studies.

Previous peadiatric experience is not essential as training will be given. Echo or pacing experience would be an advantage.

Essential Criteria:

· Possess a BSc in Clinical Measurement from Technology University Dublin or Dublin Institute of Technology.

Or

· Possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification (Level 8) as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurements Physiology (IICMP).

Or if qualified in or prior to 2005

· Possess the Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from Dublin Institute of Technology

Or

· (b) Possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Physiology (IICMP).

AND

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years satisfactory relevant post qualification experience.

AND

· Candidates must have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
