Job Description
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with the facility’s policies and procedures.
- Assessing residents’ health and wellbeing and reporting any changes to the Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing.
- Providing basic nursing care, such as wound care, catheterization, and administering oxygen therapy.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of residents’ care and progress in their medical record.
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Participating in care conferences and collaborating with other members of the team to develop care plans.
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents, including infection prevention and control practices.
- Participating in continuing education opportunities to maintain and enhance nursing knowledge and skills.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing.

Salary: $43.00-$48.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- LPN/RPN (required)
- Nursing (preferred)
- CPR Certification (required)
