The Group: JPMorgan’s Public Finance Credit Origination Group consists of 14 New York-based team members. The Group deploys JPMorgan’s balance sheet as a direct lender or credit support provider in a variety of forms (term loans, revolving credit facilities, letters of credit, standby bond purchase agreements, delayed draw facilities, etc.) to a range of infrastructure projects, public-private partnerships and municipal issuers. The Group currently has $23.5 billion of exposure.

The Role: A significant area of growth for the Group over recent years has been the financing of stadium and arena projects in the US, Canada and Europe. In relation to this sector, the Group works closely with Public Finance Investment Banking to originate, structure, document and book balance sheet transactions that finance stadium/arena construction. Post construction and stabilization of the project, these loans are typically refinanced with a long term debt placement. As this business continues to grow we are seeking a Third Year Analyst whose primary responsibilities will include working on these transactions. Depending on deal flow, the candidate will also be expected to help support other areas of the business as needed.
