The Opportunity

Permanent Full Time – FTE 1.0 – 77.5 Biweekly Hours

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Reporting to the Director of Care or Executive Director, Care (DOC), The Program Manager (PM), Long Term Care (LTC) provides overall leadership, coordination, and direction in the clinical care of the residents within the Mission, Vision, and Values of SCF and standards of professional nursing practice. The PM is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, evaluating, and carrying out person centered nursing care services and ensuring compliance with continuing care health service standards, employment and safety-related legislation, codes, regulations, and SCF policies and procedures.

Consider applying if you have a recognized Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree, a current membership in good standing with College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA), a current valid driver’s license with an acceptable driver’s abstract, demonstrated skills in leadership, performance management, concern resolution process and a minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible work experience at a supervisory or management level in long term care or related field.

A Gerontology Certificate, strong knowledge of safe work practices/procedures and proficient organizational, computer, and presentation skills are considered great assets.
