Job Description
Croydon ILS require PAs to support disabled people to live independently. PAs supporting the same disabled person live rent-free in a separate house close to the user in Purley CR8, South London.
We offer
- A flexible two-day-on, two-day-off shift pattern, with every other long (3-day) weekend-off, which means the PAs are paid a generous full-time salary and have a great work-life balance; only working 2 two-day shifts and 1 three-day shift in every two-week period.
- A separate house with the bills paid (including rent, electricity, water, council tax, broadband and TV Licence) that PAs are able to live in rent-free for eight months+ even on the days when they are not working.
- A starting minimum gross salary of between £700 and £900 per week, (£36,400 and £46,800 per annum) with additional opportunities to earn more for those wishing to work extra hours.
- Generous holiday pay and additional cash bonuses are paid for working for four months+ on the scheme.
In contrast to many other similar posts, Personal Assistants are not usually required to sleep over at the home of the service users. It is not necessary to have a driving licence and no previous experience is required, as all training is provided.
We have successfully recruited applicants for over twenty-five years and, in the past, these posts have been very popular with bright and enthusiastic Personal Assistants / Support Workers looking for well-paid work with accommodation provided or work experience for Social Care, Nursing, Physiotherapy & other medical professions and also for visitors to the UK on working holidays.
