Hello, social and health care professional!  Are you looking for a change from your current job or additional income through occasional gig work?

We are now looking for nurses for gig work at Hoivakoti Kielas  . Your education allows you to be a personal nurse or a care assistant.

Kielas nursing home as a workplace

Kielas Nursing Home is located in Pello and offers 24-hour serviced housing for 30 elderly people and people with dementia. The nursing home also has four places for communal living. The work at Kielas Nursing Home is resident-oriented, taking into account the individual needs and interests of each resident. Stimulating activities, a taste for life everyday life and creating a good mood for residents and colleagues are part of the daily routine.

Your working day as a caregiver with us

As a nurse, you are on duty for our residents, always meeting them warmly, without haste and taking into account their individual needs. You get to utilize your own personality and strengths at work. Your working day consists of, depending on your training, nursing and guidance of residents, medication management, planning and participating in the overall care of residents.

Employment information 

As a gig worker, you work in shifts. You can start gigging with us right away and continue gigging for as long as suits you. 

As a gig worker, you can either work on call when needed and choose shifts that suit you at short notice, or you can work more systematically, knowing your shifts already during the planning stage of the roster.

The task requires

  • training:  training for a nurse or care assistant
  • other permits: valid drug permits, vaccination protection according to the Infectious Diseases Act and hygiene passport
  • Language skills: at least basic functional Finnish language skills (B1 level)
  • Other things to note: the person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract in accordance with the Criminal Records Act if the employment relationship lasts more than 3 months.

In addition, we will require social and healthcare professionals to have a social and healthcare professional card when implementing the customer database.

Pay

We follow the private collective agreement for the social services sector in our remuneration. The job-specific base salary is, depending on experience, as follows:

  • in the position of a nurse 2363.76-2556.20 €/month (G20C)
  • in the position of care assistant 2166.94-2381.97 €/month (G16B)

Students’ salary is a grade -6% incompetence discount.
