Kivipuisto Care Home as a Workplace
Kivipuisto Nursing Home is a 63-bed unit in Järvenpää, with a population mainly consisting of elderly people, but the unit also has a small mental health unit with 11 beds. The nursing home is divided into four parts: a group home for people with dementia and a group home for people with multiple illnesses that provide 24-hour care, a community living facility that offers slightly lighter care, and a group home for people in mental health rehabilitation.

The role of a nurse in our country
As a nurse, you act in the team’s nursing care expert role, developing nursing work to suit the resident. You can carry out your own nursing responsibility independently and expand your job description according to your interests. You actively participate in everyday nursing work and the development of its quality. You are involved in collaboration with doctors, the safe implementation of medication treatment, and the assessment of residents’ functional capacity together with a multidisciplinary team.
In this role, you will work with the elderly, and we value solid expertise in working with the elderly. Experience working with people in mental health rehabilitation is considered an advantage.
The position is permanent. Working hours can be either weekday mornings or 2-shift work, with an emphasis on weekday mornings, depending on the agreement. If you wish, you can also work weekends. We can agree on the start date with you!
The task requires
- nursing degree
- valid drug licenses, vaccination coverage according to the Infectious Diseases Act and hygiene passport
- at least functional basic language skills in Finnish (B1 level)
The person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract in accordance with the Criminal Records Act. In addition, we will require a social and health care professional card from social and health care professionals in connection with the implementation of the customer information repository.
Pay
The job-specific base salary is €2,665.28-€2,905.09/month, depending on experience bonus (private social services sector TES, G22D).
