Job Description

Fjeldberg nursing home ward 1 has a 100% permanent nursing position available in rotation with day and evening shifts 3rd every weekend. 

Fjeldberg nursing home is centrally located in Fredrikstad municipality with a view to Fjeldberg marina. The nursing home has 54 residents divided into two wards.

Work assignments

• Map nursing needs, prioritize and implement nursing measures   
• Document relevant and necessary information in the patient’s medical record in line with good professional practice 
• Handle medicines in accordance with regulations and the municipality’s internal procedures  
• Contribute to ensuring the quality of the direct service provision  
• Facilitate patient participation, coping with everyday life and person-centred care 
• Contribute to the department and the business using technology and digital solutions that support patients’ and relatives’ resources and coping options 
• Co-responsible for developing and maintaining a good working environment 

Qualification requirements

• Norwegian authorization as a nurse  
• Good written and oral presentation skills in Norwegian

Other conditions
Employees are employed in Fredrikstad municipality in accordance with laws, regulations and collective agreements. The trial period is 6 months.

Police / Tuberculosis certificate
Employment requires submission of an approved police certificate, not older than 3 months.
The form “Tuberculosis and MRSA control for employment and foreign travel” must be completed by all persons who are to take up a position within health and care services.
