Responsibilities:

• Social Support
• Domestic Assistance –General hygienic clean
• Personal Care –Showering, Dressing, Hygiene etc.
• Meal planning and preparation
• Medication prompting / or administration
• Respite assistance
• Transportation – Appointments, Shopping, Social
• Overnight Care – Active or Passive

Requirements & Attributes:

• Medication Charts (if available) are correctly documented.
• All required documentation is recorded in on Visual Care system
• All Policies and Procedures as per KC standards
• Own or have access to a registered vehicle, must be roadworthy and hold a valid drivers licence
• Ability to read and write and speak unbroken English at an adult level
• Ability to treat all clients with respect, dignity, compassion under any/all circumstances
• Ability to do Personal Care and Domestic Care
• Previous Experience in Disability or Aged Care
• Ability to follow and adhere to the OSCN Core Values

Qualifications:

• Minimum Cert 3 Individual Support / Aged – Disability
• Cert 4 or EN Trained (Advantageous)
• NDIS clearance
• Working with Children clearance
• Medication trained (Preferred but not essential)
• First Aid / CPR
• Manual Handling
• Covid-19 Vaccinated x 3
• Flu Vaccination

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Salary: $30.33 – $46.60 per hour

Schedule:

• Fixed shift
• Flexible hours

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Perth, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Licence/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (Preferred)
• Working with Children Check (Preferred)
• National Police Certificate (Preferred)
• Driver Licence (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

• Australia (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
