We are looking to recruit a motivated person to become part of our dynamic multidisciplinary team, contributing to the effective quality care of our patients and their families in our busy combined Intensive Care & High Dependency Unit.

The Unit provides care to critically ill patients requiring ventilation and/or complex organ monitoring and support.

You will be part of a team of HCA’s who support the nursing and medical staff in delivering high quality care to the sickest patients in the hospital.

Do you have a caring approach, excellent communication skills and have experience in working in the care setting? If so then the ICU team here at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust would like to meet you.

We currently have apart time vacancy for enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our ward team. You will be working on a busy intensive care unit, assisting nursing staff in the delivery of planned health care to Level 2 and 3 patients maintaining patient privacy and dignity. You will ensure that the unit is well maintained, stocked and tidy while adhering to health and safety policies.

The role requires you to have good organizational skills, a professional manner with caring and compassionate skills. You will be working as part of a team as well as using your initiative (once familiar with the role).
