You can read about our services and our team to learn more.Under the direction of the Director, ATB Wealth Advice Centre, the Financial Advisor role is responsible for supporting new and existing clients with investment advice for our inbound Wealth Advice Centre . In addition, the role is also responsible for sourcing sales opportunities through internal partnerships and proactive client contact. This position will uncover customer needs, provide investment advice, deliver financial planning education and recommend digital investment solutions including ATB Prosper.RequirementsFinancial Advisor Accountabilities:

  • A thorough knowledge of all wealth management solutions and tools
  • Strong work ethic with an ability to stay focused through periods of high call volume and under demanding circumstances
  • Exceptional client experience and proactive sales abilities with the ability to meet or exceed required sales goals
  • Effective relationship building, communication, and discovery skills with clients through virtual means
  • Ability to adhere to the compliance code of conduct and respect the ethical values of the financial advisor role.
  • A post secondary degree education is preferred to meet the future requirements of the CFP designation.
  • Minimum 3 years of related wealth management experience is preferred
  • A valid completion of the Canadian Securities Course is a requirement
  • Ability to be immediately registered with IIROC with current CSC
  • Conduct and Practices Handbook + 90 day training + Wealth Management Essentials Course is preferred but not required
  • Previous industry and virtual (ie: online chat, telephone) customer service related experience would be an asset
  • Able to work shift work as required
