An opportunity has risen for an experienced Finance Officer to be part of the team responsible for providing finance transaction services which are a fundamental part of day-to-day business within SSPL.

You will provide support to internal and external stakeholders in all areas of SSP including invoicing, debt collection, internal recharging and provision of these areas in terms of reporting information where required. Ensuring compliance with SSP’s policies and procedures, whilst maintaining relationships with the University Finance team to deliver best practice and consistency of processes.

As well as assisting in the preparation of the monthly management accounts and year-end financial accounts with writing and posting journals into the general ledger. The successful candidate will have:

Strong customer service skills

Experience within a financial transaction’s environment

A medium understanding of Microsoft Office

Knowledge and understanding of the application of internal controls

High organisational skills with effective multi-tasking abilities

A high level of attention to detail
