The curriculum is based upon the English National Curriculum covering a diverse range of subjects. Our personalised, play-based and continuous provision in the Early Years ensures that students are rigorously assessed against the prime and specific areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. This focuses on developing key learning skills and the foundations for accessing the Primary Curriculum. In primary, students receive an enriching and broad curriculum offer, which includes the delivery of several non-core subjects. Our senior students take the IGCSE examinations in Year 11 and move into the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) or International Baccalaureate Career-Related Programme (IBCP) in Years 12 and 13. The Post: Female Lead Swim Coach
The successful candidate will work in an exceptional department, which is both extremely popular and successful. The will also take a lead on swimming development within the department.
You would be joining highly driven individuals who are passionate about student progress, holistic development and motivating students to stay physically active.
Candidates would be expected to dedicate themselves to both curriculum and extra-curricular swimming, as well has organising and attending galas. Although much of the role would be based around swimming, the chosen candidate would be expected to contribute to the wider responsibilities within the school and department when swimming is not being taught as frequently.
The successful applicant will be required to have the following:
- At least 2 years’ experience teaching and coaching swimming.
- A level 2 or higher swim qualification
- A positive mindset which understands all students have the potential for top performance, and the drive and passion to enable them to do so.
