For this we need you:

  • Operation, maintenance, repair and technical adaptation of electrical systems in the areas of building installation and technical building equipment (TGA):

These include medium-voltage and low-voltage switchgear, emergency power generators, safety lighting systems, UPS systems, electrical equipment for heating, air conditioning, ventilation and sanitary technology, elevator and facade access systems, bollard systems, sliding gate systems, lifting platforms, aerial work platforms and barrier systems

  • Carrying out general installation and assembly work in the field of electrical engineering including commissioning and testing
  • Implementation or participation in plant conversion, modernization and renewal
  • Localization and elimination of complex faults as well as adaptation and programming of control and regulation systems
  • Creation or updating of plant documentation
  • Determination or identification of requirements and assistance in the procurement of spare parts and consumables
  • control and monitoring of external companies

Your profile:

You should definitely bring the following with you:

  • Career qualification for the middle technical administrative service or
  • Completed vocational training as an electrician, electronics technician for industrial engineering or electronics technician for energy and building technology and
  • several years of professional experience as an electrician or electronics technician

This would be desirable:

  • Strong ability to complete work assignments in your own work area on time
  • Strong ability to communicate fairly and trustfully with groups and to ensure the flow of information within a larger area of ​​responsibility

o Good practical and theoretical knowledge as well as several years of experience in the operation, maintenance, repair and technical adaptation of electrical systems, in the areas of building installation and technical building equipment (TGA)

o Good knowledge and safe application of relevant technical rules such as VDE, TAB, DIN, DGUV V3 or V4, TRBS, BetrSichV etc.

o good knowledge of the German language (~ B2)

o physical suitability for working on difficult-to-access facilities

  • Ability to complete assigned tasks independently and take initiative in one’s own area of ​​activity
  • Ability to take responsibility for assigned tasks within the usual work area

Remuneration is according to salary group 8 TVöD.

Appointment as a civil servant is possible if the personal requirements are met.

Civil servants are transferred to their previous position (maximum salary group A 8) after a previous secondment.

Civil servants can reach salary group A 9 (mD) BBesO in the BMDV if the requirements are met.

The BMDV pays an allowance for the highest federal authorities. The allowance amounts to up to 220.00 euros for full-time employees.
