About this opportunity

We are looking for a friendly and responsible individual to join our team as a part-time minibus driver to transport our care team and residents. 
Candidates should be reliable and trustworthy and must hold a full clean UK driving with a D1 category in place. You will be required to complete (with training support) the National Care Certificate Qualification, enhancing your skill set to support our wonderful residents.
You will be responsible for the safety and comfort of our residents & team members when driving them to their destinations.  You will carry out daily safety and cleaning checks of the vehicle and report any issues to the facilities manager. As well as collecting and delivering our team members, you will interact with our residents on their exciting trips out of the home – so you’ll be passionate in nature and caring about the residents safety and comfort at all times.

· Generous rate of pay from £13.85 probationary rate to £14.95 per hour after probation (attractive annual salary of over £31,000 plus bonuses)

The role requires you to be…

A confident and experienced driver. Live locally to our 4 care homes in Farnham and Fleet. You are required to hold a full clean driving license with a D1 category in place. You would need be able to work unsupervised and be trusted to complete the routes assigned to you.

The role requires you to be reliable working part time circa 30 hours per week, between Monday and Sunday on a rota system.

We would like you…
•   To have a full, clean drivers’ licence
•   To provide documentary evidence of D1 on your licence (previous minibus driving experience desirable)
•   To complete all relevant paperwork, use our minibus booking app and fill in any compliance documents that are required.
•   To collect and deliver our team members from designated pick-up points
•   To be reliable, helpful and respectful to others
•   To carry out essential infection control cleaning tasks and maintain infection control standards in accordance with the requirements
•   To always work to a personal ethos of ‘do your best to be the best’
