Job Description

Thurlaston Meadows Care Home is situated in the charming village of Thurlaston, just outside Dunchurch, Rugby. We are committed to providing first-class care for our elderly residents while ensuring a clean and safe environment.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our friendly domestic team. The job responsibilities include:

  • Hovering, dusting, sanitising rooms using special UV equipment, laundry, ironing, and labelling clothes of new residents.
  • Ensuring residents’ rooms and communal areas are clean and tidy.
  • Keeping daily cleaning schedule records up to date.
  • Collecting laundry from bedrooms and returning it to residents’ rooms after washing and ironing.
  • Reporting faulty equipment or maintenance issues within the home.

Induction and training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Shift Times:

  • 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Alternative weekend working from a monthly rota.

A criminal background check (DBS) will be required.
