Job Description

  • Contribute to the development of a global cybersecurity engineering program, through technical leadership of projects which will further enhance the Enterprise security posture.
  • Contribute to project plans, coordinates vendors, build and conduct tests, executes against the implementation plan and tracks project progress.
  • Lead technical design and execution for large to global enterprise sized application or infrastructure projects that have major impact on the IT infrastructure and business process including those that involve multiple inter-related technologies, multiple vendors, leading edge technologies, great operational or implementation risks, complex business functionality and broad implications for us and the IT infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the development of an annual plan relating to cybersecurity engineering activity.
  • Build vendor relationships and help manage contract & support renewals.

Your ImpactOperational Responsibilities

  • You will manage all technical aspects of security controls for a multi-location environment that supports digital, catalog, and brick and mortar retail. On an as-needed basis, recommend, and justify appropriate commercial off-the-shelf products that support the security program requirements.
  • You will manage multiple security technologies; design and introduce new services into the existing environment; recognize and safely retire or replace the services and technologies that no longer satisfy the requirements.
  • You will review vendor proposals and make recommendations to leadership.
  • You will provide support to Procurement on the purchase and renewal of toolsets and assist with supplier management activity.
  • You will advise on latest technology and make recommendations.
  • You will monitor and recommend Information Security best practices that support the enterprise’s risk management approach and continuous improvement.
  • You will provide 3rd level support and troubleshooting for issues escalated from more junior engineers on installed technical solutions.

What You BringWhat you will possess:

  • 6+ years’ experience of cybersecurity work experience.
  • One or more professional security certifications e.g. CISSP, OSCP, CCNA/CCNP, or relevant SANS certification.
  • Experience of combined security and IT work experience in a position focused on information security.
  • Knowledge of network and security fundamentals, protocols, and technologies.
  • Experience mitigating security controls (i.e., anti-virus, EDR, PKI, web application security, bot protection, certificates, and SIEM) and how they work in an overall defense in-depth risk assessment methodology.
  • Experience with engineering and architecture of technologies such as certificate management and PKI or web application protection such as WAF and bot protection.
  • Mentor junior staff personnel.
