The Hills Shire Council is seeking highly motivated and customer-oriented individuals to join our Library Services team as Casual Customer Service Officers. The successful candidates will have exemplary customer service skills and enjoy interacting with community members of different ages and cultures. Customer Service Officers play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and enriching experience for library customers.

What this role looks like:
- Provide exceptional customer service to library users, including assisting with locating library materials, answering inquiries, and resolving any issues or concerns.
- Assist customers with the use of library resources and technology, including computers, printers, and e-resources.
- Deliver the full range of Council and Library services through Council’s libraries.
- Assist in the delivery of programs and activities.
- Work at any of Council’s libraries on an as needs basis, including evenings and weekends.
What are we seeking in our new team member:
- HSC or equivalent
- Driver License (Class C – NSW)
- A valid Working with Children Check
- Experience in a high volume, fast paced customer service environment
