Due to continued growth, PayStream Accounting Services Limited have an opening for a Customer Care Advisor to join our Umbrella department at our Altrincham office.

Part-time options available (40 hour week when working full time, minimum of 22.5 hours per week when working part-time)

Choose from a 4 day week, hybrid working (2 days at home and 3 days in the office) or choose your own hours between 7am and 7pm (following an initial training period of 6 weeks)

No working Bank Holidays or weekends!

The salary for this role is £22,500.

The Role:

  • Resolving new and existing customer issues quickly and efficiently
  • Supporting new customers through the learning curve of either setting up their own business or being employed through an Umbrella company
  • Nurturing PayStream’s existing customer relationships by providing an inspirational level of customer service
  • To ensure compliance processes are followed at all times
  • Taking inbound call queries and supporting the team managing an email inbox

  • Ability and commitment to deliver high levels of customer service
  • Resilience and the ability to cope with difficult conversations
  • Ability to communicate clearly to clients, contractors and colleagues
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a pressurised customer service environment
  • Ability to manage own time to deal with multiple tasks effectively


  • Minimum grade C in Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent)
  • Basic IT skills with the ability to learn and operate relevant computer systems
