Concrete Placer/Finisher

Job Description

East Tamaki based small friendly team is seeking a skilled, fast, all-around experienced concreter and finisher.   

Work is throughout Auckland with clients in a residential environment. You must be 100% punctual, honest, and reliable, work well in a team environment, and work unsupervised with a step up to leadership roles.

You will need to show initiative, be a step ahead, and be proactive with a “can do” attitude. 

You must be prepared for early starts and work 6 days a week when required.

We are offering competitive hourly rates negotiable on the applicant’s skill level, quality of workmanship, and proven time management.

Eligibility:

• Committed to safe work practices
• Current valid driver’s License and transport to and from our East Tamaki yard or job site
• Have good stamina and are able to perform tasks that include heavy lifting, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching
• Must be able to work outdoors in areas that are dusty or dirty
• Must have good vision, an eye for levels, and good hand-eye coordination. Be time efficient and skilled in smooth finishing freshly placed concrete, applying surface treatments, and restoring concrete surfaces.
