An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Team Leader to work within the leadership team at Bracken House Rehabilitation Unit.We are looking for dedicated and innovative candidates who have the relevant skills to enable them to effectively lead a team, demonstrating the knowledge and experience necessary to inspire good practice and develop services and enhance patient experience and quality.This post is eligible for a Golden Hello payment of £2,750 for new starters who are external to the Trust. This is payable in 3 instalments over a 2-year period. This payment is only eligible to new starters who do not already hold a contract of employment with the Trust.Bracken House is an 18 bed controlled access rehabilitation unit which provides inpatient services for patients in need of assistance with gaining and sustaining living skills in order to live a full satisfying independent life. We offer a comprehensive therapeutic group programme as well as individual working, opportunities for our patients’ personal development, learning skills, and robust support for move on.This is an exciting opportunity for a registered mental health nurse to be part of the leadership team within a modern rehabilitation unit. The successful applicant will work closely with the Unit Manager and Clinical Leads to support the service delivery to a high standard.As Clinical Team Leader you will supervise care approaches and systems of delivery.You will need be proactive, compassionate, caring and recovery focused with excellent communication skills.You will help provide strong leadership throughout the wider MDT ensuring that high standards are maintained and improved upon.Staff supervision, performance monitoring, governance issues and CQC compliance are key areas you will be focusing upon.You must have clinical experience of working with people with serious mental health conditions and hold a recovery focused perspective on providing care and support to people with the care of the team.You will have responsibility for facilitating time limited therapeutic treatments and coordinating careYou will be required to provide needs led, goal focused plans using the individual’s strengths and abilities which aims to encourage independence and reduce social exclusion, providing interventions which are evidence based good practice.Effective liaison with patients’ family and carers is integral to the post.We have a huge variety of opportunities in our expansive Trust covering geographically from South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire to Leicester, providing mental health inpatient and community services, community health services, forensic mental health services and secure prison healthcare across the East Midlands.We have more than 100 sites and a huge scope of unique opportunities to develop your career and gain some amazing experiences.
