The Cemetery Operations team are looking for a new person to join a tightknit and cohesive unit. Although small in number our output is high and our attention to maintaining the highest standards is foremost. If you are a person who is calm and relaxed, can fit into any team, hardworking by nature is positive and shows respect and empathy then we may be a fit.
Based at Pyes Pa Memorial Park you will be responsible for routine tasks such as grounds maintenance (weed eating, zero turn mowing, hedge work, weed spraying, chainsaw work) and more specialised ones including preparation of burial plots and operations in the crematorium (Cremator operation and maintenance, processing of ashes and paper work). Although experience is always useful the right fit and attitude are more important and we can teach the rest.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring;

- A full class 1 license

- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in grounds maintenance
- Good working knowledge of Health & Safety
- Knowledge of the relevant legislation
- Resilience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills
- The ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team
- Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers qualification (preferred, but not essential)
