We are currently seeking experienced Care Workers to provide daily support to residents at our Bethanie Beachside Aged Care Facility located in Yanchep. Bethanie Yanchep is a 160 bed modern aged care home fitted with the latest in modern conveniences and has been designed specifically to create a homely feel for our residents & staff alike.
You will support our residents to improve their quality of life by assisting with day to day activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing is maintained while building positive and professional relationships with residents and team members.
Our Care Workers are an integral part of the care and support we provide to residents. Applicants with at least twelve months experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
We currently have roles available on full time and part time basis, with rosters across both morning and afternoon shifts as well as night duty.
The Role:
- Assess care plans and ensure residents’ needs are met
- Ensure services (including food, laundry, personal care, domestic and interest) are delivered in a timely and safe manner
- Deliver personal care tasks (including toileting and showering) with dignity and respect
- Ensure residents’ rooms and the facility environment is maintained to an appropriate standard
About You:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) or equivalent
- Previous experience working in an aged care or hospital environment would be an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well as a team, and also independently
- Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group Inc.
- Current Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for one
- Experience using ICare or similar computer package highly regarded
