Care Assistant

Job Description

Assist residents with personal hygiene, washing and bathing, assistance with using the toilet, assistant with continence care including pads, commodes and catheter bagsSupport with eating and drinking, ensuring that residents are encouraged to eat a healthy, balanced diet and are assisted to eat and drink adequately Assistance with mobility, use of equipment or assistance with standing and movementRecord keeping, completing daily notes and intervention charts Promote independence, to allow residents to do as much for themselves as they can whilst offering support when this is needed
