Job Description
We are looking for a stable and dedicated employee who can work every single working day, mainly between 12:00 and 17:00. The role is very important to the operation of the after-school care center and requires reliable presence during this time.
Other staff have both classroom duties in the morning and in after-school care, and there is rotation among staff due to meetings. Working hours will include sufficient time to be active with the children, especially in physical education, as well as some meetings with the administration.
We are looking for new employees for assignments in mixed-age environments (6-9 and 9-12 years old) and after-school care.

Job duties:
- Establish a safe and positive learning environment in collaboration with students and teachers.
- Collaborate in teams with educators and professionals.
- Facilitate and participate in activities during school hours and after-school care.
- Ensure a safe, caring and enjoyable everyday life for students, both individually and in groups.
- Be a visible and important role model for students.
- Assist with the organization and follow-up of the children/students.
Desired qualifications and characteristics:
- Has very good presentation and communication skills.
- Has good collaboration skills and the ability to work independently.
- Have good knowledge of Norwegian, both spoken and written.
- Enjoys working with children and appears mature and confident in the safety and well-being of students.
- Is ambitious, helpful, inclusive and positive.
- Is skilled at creating safe and good relationships.
- Want the best for those around you and show respect for both children and colleagues.
- Is good at seeing each individual student and their needs.
